March into creativity
Here at Big Wild Imagination we love to learn new things, get inspired or improve our skills as often as possible. It also means we can bring these insights to our workshops to share with the children. In Sydney, the month of March is the perfect time to do this with both the Sydney Design Festival taking place from March 1-10 and Art Month Sydney happening 7-30th March.
The 2019 Sydney Design Festival provides visitors with an opportunity to unpack design in all its forms – to understand and explore the processes and functions and to be inspired by the exhibitions and people involved in creating our futures.
Art Month Sydney is a not-for-profit festival of contemporary art produced by the Australian Art Events Foundation. Galleries and creative spaces across Sydney will throw open their doors for the 10th yearly Art Month Sydney, a massive city-wide celebration of contemporary art and artists.
There is so much happening that’s it’s hard to choose! However we’ve listed a few family friendly events that are worth checking out with your little ones as well as highlighting some of the workshops, talks and exhibitions that we’ll be attending over the next few weeks. Click each title below for a link to more information. March is shaping up to be an inspiring month and we can’t wait to bring some of this knowledge and inspiration back to our workshops.
